Providence Hospital Labor And Delivery Unit To Close June 30

USA Health will permanently close the Labor and Delivery unit at Providence Hospital in Mobile on June 30. This change follows the announced closure of Mobile OB-GYN, P.C., an independent private practice, which has provided OB-GYN physician services at Providence. Beginning July 1, all USA Health labor and delivery services will be available at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital, also in Mobile, where the health system has expanded its women’s services division to ensure the capacity to serve all patients, including those transferring their obstetric care from Mobile OB-GYN.
