Rehabilitation Specialist Steffens Joins Infirmary Health

Dr. Ashley B. Steffens has joined Infirmary Health Rehabilitation Specialists after completing her residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital. Steffens specializes in treating patients with physical and cognitive disabilities caused by injuries. Physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians use a range of treatments such as physical therapy, medication and injections to address a variety of disorders affecting the soft tissue, muscles, nerves and spine. Steffens is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Microbiology. She earned her doctorate of medicine from UAB. Steffens completed an internship in preliminary medicine at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham.
