Southern Eye Group Gains Optometrist

Spanish Fort’s Southern Eye Group recently announced that optometrist Dr. Taylor Wolkart will join the practice beginning October 25. Wolkart earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in 2016. He completed his optometric education at University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he received his doctorate degree with honors in 2021. His special interests are in specialty contact lenses, as well as treating and managing ocular disease.
