Springhill Medical Center Announces New President/CEO

Springhill Medical Center has announced the appointment of Deanna Kyrimis as the hospital’s new president and CEO. Kyrimis has 20 years of health system strategy and operations experience at the executive level and most recently held the position of CEO at Arizona Asthma & Allergy Institute, the largest independent allergy and immunology practice in the Southwest. Prior to that, she was vice president at CommonSpirit: Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington. Her career also includes serving as CEO at the following: Palomar Health Medical Group in California, Lovelace Health System’s New Mexico Heart Institute and National Cardiovascular Partners in Arizona. Kyrimis is a candidate for a doctoral of science degree in healthcare leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds special certifications from the Virginia Mason Production System for specialized management to improve healthcare processes and from Lean Healthcare for demonstrating expertise in optimizing healthcare operations. She earned her MS from the University of Oxford in the U.K. and her MBA from the University of California Irvine. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University.
