Springhill Medical Center Receives BCBS Cardiac Distinction

Springhill Medical Center has received the “Blue Distinction Centers+ for Cardiac Care” designation from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Alabama, which recognizes the program’s commitment to delivering quality specialty care to patients safely, effectively and cost-efficiently. Blue Distinction Centers met overall quality measures, developed with input from the medical community. Blue Distinction Centers+ also met cost measures that address consumers’ need for affordable healthcare.
