Urology Associates Acquires Urology & Oncology Specialists

Urology Associates has announced a merger with Urology & Oncology Specialists, PC, effective April 3. The merger will keep the latter’s current two locations for both urology and oncology care with the same providers. The urology team will take on the Urology Associates name, while the oncology radiation team will be called “The Cancer Center of Mobile.” The merger will advance the group’s urologic services and allow the practice to offer radiation oncology treatments across all disease states. “Having radiation under our umbrella will improve coordination of care and make our patients’ experiences even more seamless,” said Hawk Sindel, CEO of Urology Associates.
