USA Health Adds EndoFLIP Procedure

USA Health recently completed several successful cases of the endolumenal functional lumen imaging probe (EndoFLIP) procedure at the Digestive Health Center in Mobile. This new procedure can help with difficulty swallowing and other esophageal motility disorders. Using the device allows physicians to see the dynamic movements of the esophagus and helps minimize patient discomfort. The advanced imaging technology also provides an internal view of the gastroesophageal junction during endoscopic procedures, allowing for real-time measurements of the pressure and dimensions of the esophagus that help identify issues related to swallowing disorders.
