USA Health Adds Physician To Oncology Care Team

MOBILE, Ala. — USA Health is expanding its oncology care team with the addition of Dr. Zachary M. Trisel, a fellowship-trained medical oncologist and hematologist who will see patients at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute in Mobile. Trisel, who is an assistant professor of interdisciplinary clinical oncology, treats a variety of cancers including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, head and neck cancer, lung cancer and prostate cancer. Trisel completed a fellowship in medical oncology at USA Health/Mitchell Cancer Institute and a residency in internal medicine at Drexel University/Hahnemann University Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences. His research interests include Phase III clinical trials, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and next-generation sequencing.
