USARAN To Host Free Workshop On November 13

The University of South Alabama Regional Autism Network (USARAN), in partnership with the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program (ADAP), is offering support for families with questions about Medicaid, Medicaid waivers and special education services for loved ones with developmental disabilities. On November 13, a free workshop covering advice on navigating medical and educational systems and services will be held at the Foley Public Library at 9:30 a.m.-noon. Cecilia Ballinger, an Equal Justice Works law fellow, and Christina Norris, senior case advocate, both with ADAP, will lead the sessions. To learn more, call USARAN at 251-410-4533. To register, email USARAN. The workshop is free to attend, but space is limited.
