Vascular Surgeon Joins Local Practice

Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgical Associates (CTVSA) has announced the addition of vascular surgeon Dr. Cullen McCarthy. McCarthy joins CTVSA following the completion of a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina. McCarthy, a board-certified surgeon, earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine, as well as a BS in genetics from the University of Georgia. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. During his residency, he served as Educational Chief Resident and participated in multiple research studies covering trauma surgery, cell biology and vascular surgery. CTVSA is an affiliate of Infirmary Medical Clinics and has been serving the Mobile area since 1971.
