Vision Partners Adds Doctor Of Optometry

MOBILE/BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Doctor of Optometry Mary Kathryn Wilson recently joined Vision Partners and will be caring for patients at all three of its locations in Mobile and Baldwin counties. She is originally from Greenwood, Mississippi, and completed her pre-professional undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi with an additional four years of professional education at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she received her doctor of optometry degree in 2012. Wilson’s experience includes the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, especially glaucoma and diabetic complications, as well as determining prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. She also holds higher-level certifications for primary eye care procedures. Wilson is a member of the American Optometric Association and served on the Mississippi Optometric Association Board of Directors during 2014-2021.
