David’s Catfish House Expands

David’s Catfish House is expected to open its first David’s Catfish Express location at the old Los Tacos restaurant at 28991 Highway 98 in Daphne soon. The concept is aimed at getting what it calls its “high-quality restaurant staples” like cheese grits, banana pudding and seafood to customers quickly but without a decrease in quality. David’s Catfish House opened in Waynesboro, Mississippi, in 1983, and now has several locations in Alabama and Florida. This express location, which was to open earlier this year (David’s Catfish Express Coming To Daphne) features a drive-thru and a new menu item: frozen strawberry lemonade.
