Foley Food Scene Sees Growth

FOLEY, Ala. — According to Gulf Coast Media, Foley has some new additions to its restaurant offerings. One of the newest restaurants to open in Foley is Big Potato Co. at 3105 South McKenzie Street. The small franchise has two other locations in Centreville and Greenville. Also, a new Italian restaurant, Valerio’s Pizza and Italian, just opened in Downtown OWA. The new eatery is located at 100-F South OWA Boulevard. There could also be a new Dairy Queen in Foley’s future. According to a Foley Planning Commission agenda from May 18, JSO Services is seeking site plan approval to build a restaurant at the southeast corner of Highway 59 and Keller Road near Old Time Pottery.
