Grand Hotel Golf Course Named To Top List

The Lakewood Club golf course, located at The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection in Point Clear, was recently named one of Historic Hotels of America‘s Top 25 Most Historic Golf Courses. The Lakewood Club was originally built in 1947. Lakewood has hosted many celebrities throughout the years, including Clint Eastwood, Paul "Bear" Bryant, Jimmy Carter, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, George Bush, Sally Fields and Winston Groom.
