The Admiral Hotel To Host Grand Reopening August 1

The newly renovated The Admiral Hotel at 251 Government Street in Downtown Mobile will hold an official grand reopening on August 1, Downtown Mobile Today reports. Originally opened in 1940, The boutique hotel reflects Mobile’s rich history, vibrant culture and lively atmosphere, and it is now owned and operated by Avocet Hospitality. With 156 guest rooms, an outdoor pool, extensive meeting spaces and an onsite restaurant, The Admiral Hotel has incorporated new furnishings that tie in bright purples, reds and golds, paying homage to the city’s Mardi Gras roots. Another new feature is Le Moyne’s Chophouse, which is slated to open August 19.
