Jack’s Family Restaurant To Open In Loxley

Gulf Coast Media is reporting that construction on the Loxley Jack’s Family Restaurant is underway. It will be located on the east side of Highway 59, just south of Highways 59 and 64. The fast food hamburger, fried chicken and biscuit chain is scheduled to open by the end of February, barring any construction delays. Jack’s Family Restaurants is a privately owned company based in Homewood, Alabama, where the first Jack’s opened in 1960. The brand has grown to 250 locations across four states: Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi. Currently, the closest Jack’s are in Atmore and Citronelle. The restaurant will feature a drive-thru, an open interior dining room and a front porch with rocking chairs. The restaurant is known for its made-from-scratch biscuits. The Loxley location will have a glass window where guests can watch how the biscuits are made. An opening date and a grand opening event are to be announced.
