Mobile Downtown Alliance “Streetery” Project Progresses

The Mobile Downtown alliance is working with restaurants in downtown Mobile on demonstration projects, creating “streeteries” to provide more outdoor eating in certain areas. The first attempt was not viable, but a second attempt at Wintzell’s Oyster House worked well, according to a post on Facebook. The alliance is working to expand the project so restaurants will be able to serve more customers.
