Mobile Popcorn & Party Rentals Is Restructuring

MOBILE, Ala. — Transworld Business Advisors recently was hired by Mobile Popcorn, established in 1962, to divest its profitable specialty food division, which is currently taking offers from the public, as a going concern. The party rental business segment and all its assets will be auctioned later. The approximately 16,800-ft2 facility on Cottage Hill Road is being sold. The remaining specialty food retail and wholesale business will only need approximately 2,000 ft2 to operate. Mobile Popcorn owners Chris and Russell Reilly will continue to run the retail/wholesale business until a qualified buyer candidate emerges. For more details, click here.
