Old 31 Brewing Holds Grand Opening In Spanish Fort

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Old 31 Brewing recently held a grand opening event in Spanish Fort, AL.com reported. The small neighborhood brewpub offers a “neighborhood-centric” atmosphere on Old Highway 31, northeast of the Eastern Shore Centre. In brewing its own beer, the brewery says it will start with Old 31′s flagship Kolsch before extending to some India pale ales and more specialized flavors. The company’s goal is to have Old 31 beer available on all 12 of its taps as soon as possible. The pub is owned by two couples, Nick and Brittney Pronesti and Chad and Sandy Saxon. The group built the location themselves on nights and weekends.
