Deerfish Distilling Co. Nearing Opening, Awaiting Final Inspections

Deerfish Distilling Co. plans to open at 757 Government Street in Downtown Mobile as soon as its final inspections are completed, AL.com reports. It would be Mobile’s first craft distillery, featuring locally sourced and craft-distilled liquors. The owners are husband and wife duos Austin and Ashley Hallford and Lee and Emilie Hallford. Austin was the master distiller and Ashley was the general manager of operations at The Distillarium, a craft distillery in Washington. Deerfish will produce spirits such as vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon and brandy, plus ready-to-drink cocktails. Deerfish will house a production facility, rack house, tasting room and gift shop.
