Frios Gourmet Pops Signs 44th Territory

In the last year, Mobile-based Frios Gourmet Pops was able to successfully pivot its business in the face of the pandemic and see expansion. The company has signed franchise chains all year and recently hit 44, according to an email from CEO Cliff Kennedy. Frios embraced the need for mobile business and is now almost totally run that way. The franchises are as far west as Mesa, Arizona, and east to Hilton Head, South Carolina, along with major presences in Texas and Alabama. In two years, Kennedy expects to have more than 200 franchisees on board but is shooting for 300. The company recently moved its warehouse to Mobile from Gadsden.
