Restaurant On Fairhope Pier To Reopen As The Blind Tiger In 2023

FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The restaurant on the Fairhope Municipal Pier will reopen in early 2023 as the fifth location of The Blind Tiger, company officials said in an article by Gulf Coast Media. The existing 2,500-ft2 space at the pier will be gutted and renovated. The restaurant is expected to feature fresh Gulf Coast fare with such items like burgers, poboys, fish and pulled pork nachos. The company is also looking at adding amenities such as pontoon boat rentals, sunset cruises, and kayak and paddle board rentals on the pier. The Blind Tiger also has a fishing rodeo for children and a fundraiser in the works and is currently interviewing concession businesses to set up shop on the pier. Company owner Thomas Genin has partnered with Fairhope resident Brent Barkin on the purchase, managed by Mike Saucier, president of Gulf States Real Estate Services, and local broker Donald Holyfield.
