Sweets Ahoy Banana Bar Opens In Gulf Shores

Sweets Ahoy Banana Bar has opened a new frozen treat spot at 112 West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores, Gulf Coast Media reports. The banana bar features bananas and cheesecake slices dipped in chocolate and covered with toppings such as sprinkles, Oreo crumbs, peanuts or toasted coconut, and chocolate or strawberry syrup. Sweets Ahoy offers a menu of flavors, such as “Parrot’s Plunder,” dipped in white chocolate and topped with Fruity Pebbles and a strawberry drizzle, and “Bonfire S’mores,” which is covered with chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers. The shop also has a shelf full of craft sodas available to purchase individually or in a build-your-own style six-pack. It is open daily from 11 a.m.-midnight.
