Valent Acquires CPI

Valent Group LLC, a Birmingham-based insurance brokerage and risk management company with an office in Mobile, has announced the acquisition of Coastal Professional Insurance, Inc. (CPI), which specializes in coastal property coverage and flood insurance. CPI, which has served business and individual clients for more than three decades, now has access to more insurance markets, technology platforms and risk-management solutions. “The acquisition of CPI aligns seamlessly with Valent’s vision to expand its presence and enhance its portfolio of specialized insurance offerings, including flood experience that will further strengthen Valent’s condo expertise,” Valent said. It also expects to “be better equipped to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to the specific needs of coastal communities and businesses.”
