SSI Announces Prior Authorization Solution

MOBILE, Ala. — The SSI Group, LLC (SSI), a Mobile-based provider of revenue cycle management solutions, has launched a turnkey, end-to-end electronic prior authorization solution for healthcare providers that connects in real time to more than 700 payers. SSI Prior Authorization, powered by Myndshft Technologies of Mesa, Arizona, automates the prior authorization process, intended to eliminate friction while delivering immediate value in improving productivity, reducing unnecessary operating costs and increasing revenue. Specifically for hospitals, the solution will provide prior authorization improvements enterprise-wide. According to the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc.’s 2021 index, prior authorization has the highest cost transaction across the medical industry and is the most time-consuming transaction for providers. SSI says the entire process for its new solution takes only seconds, eliminating manual work and taking 99% less time.
