Going Global: A Practical Guide to Exporting is taking place at Innovation Portal in Mobile on April 8 at 10:30 a.m.-noon. The seminar is designed to equip businesses with the essential knowledge and strategies needed to successfully enter international markets. Led by Carolyn Turner, an international business professional with the Alabama International Trade Center (AITC) specializing in global trade, the session is to provide practical insights into the exporting process, including market selection, compliance considerations, logistics and financing options with an eye toward international growth. Attendees may gain direct contact with state and federal resources needed to help navigate the complexities of global trade and expand their business internationally. There is no cost for the seminar, which is presented by AITC and Export Alabama.
