Van Brunt to Speak to MABCC

The Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce (MABCC) has announced that Dr. Mary H. Van Brunt will be the speaker of its June General Body Meeting, taking place on June 25 at 11:30 a.m. in Byrne Hall on the Spring Hill College (SHC) campus in Mobile. Van Brunt made history in 2023, when she was selected as the first female president of SHC. Bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in Catholic higher education, she has served as provost, vice president for academic affairs and founding academic dean. Her strengths are in strategic planning, new program development and assessment, fundraising and team building. She also spent 12 years in the banking, securities and pharmaceutical industries.
