2020 Alabama Legal Food Frenzy Winners Announced

Alabama State Bar President Christina Crow and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall have announced the winners of the Alabama Legal Food Frenzy, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce announced. The event is an annual statewide competition among law firms to benefit Alabama’s four regional food banks and has raised the equivalent of 160,000 meals for Alabama families facing hunger. The Alabama State Bar joined with the Alabama Attorney General’s Office and the Alabama Food Bank Association to coordinate this annual fundraiser. Winners are: Martin & Helms, P.C. (Attorney General’s Cup) with 20,000 meals donated; Dagney Johnson Law Group (Sole Proprietor [1-2]) with 3,500; Martin & Helms, P.C. (Small [3-20]) with 20,000; Hill Hill Carter Franco Cole & Black, P.C. (Medium [21-40]) with 31,175; Carr Allison – Birmingham (Large [40+]) with 45,350; and U.S. District Court – Southern District of Alabama (Legal Organization) with 5,225. Alabama’s four regional food banks distributed more than 73.5 million lb of food last year through their network of more than 1,600 partner agencies and pantries.
