Alabama Legal Food Frenzy Planned For April

MOBILE, BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Registration has begun for the 2022 Alabama Legal Food Frenzy, the Alabama Bar Association’s annual fundraiser supporting food banks across the state. Last year’s Food Frenzy raised more than $55,000—the equivalent of 275,000 lb of food—to help Alabamians who are food insecure. The fundraiser is structured as a friendly competition among Alabama’s law firms and legal organizations, but individuals can make unaffiliated donations, too. Food Frenzy will run from April 4-15. Donations will be collected through the website. Every $10 donated can provide 20 meals. In South Alabama, donations will support Feeding the Gulf Coast in Mobile. When the Frenzy ends, awards will be presented by category (sole practitioner, small/medium/large firm and legal organization), and the team that raises the most money per employee will receive the Attorney General’s Cup.
