Cunningham Bounds Names Joseph McGowin As Partner

Cunningham Bounds announced that Joseph McGowin has been named a partner of the firm, recognizing his trial skill, leadership, and longstanding commitment to representing individuals and families harmed by negligence and wrongful conduct. McGowin graduated from the University of Virginia and earned his JD from the Alabama School of Law. He began his career in his hometown of Mobile, representing clients who were victims of negligence and wrongdoing. His early law practice primarily involved medical malpractice cases. In 2019, he moved to Texas, where he continued to represent personal injury clients. While in Texas, he handled cases throughout the nation, representing trucking crash victims, oilfield workers, inshore and offshore maritime workers, and clients injured in commercial and industrial accidents. McGowin returned to Mobile and joined Cunningham Bounds in 2023 with a practice focused on personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, medical malpractice and maritime law.
