Cunningham Bounds Obtains $15-Million Verdict For Local Plaintiff

Cunningham Bounds has obtained a $15-million verdict from a Montana jury in its case against Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. The firm represented a plaintiff from the local area who was seriously injured while her husband passed away as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning when staying at the lodge in 2021. The case was filed against Rainbow Ranch, its general manager, several plumbers and others. It alleged that their negligence led to one person’s death and caused life-altering injuries and trauma to the survivor. Skip Finkbohner and David Cain of Cunningham Bounds and Justin Stalpes of Beck, Amsden & Stalpes represented the plaintiff in the case.
