Friedman Joins Adams & Reese

Lee Bonner Friedman, a previous staff member for former U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, has joined Adams & Reese as a government relations advisor and member of the national law firm’s Intersection of Business & Government Practice Group. Friedman represents clients in public policy, government affairs and regulatory matters from the firm’s Mobile and Washington, D.C., offices. Friedman has nearly a decade of experience working with businesses, trade associations and nonprofits on lobbying, advocacy, legislation needs, public relations and other various forms of government relations strategies at the local and state levels across Alabama and at the federal level in Washington. During her tenure as deputy director of scheduling for McCarthy, Friedman worked in various capacities, including organizing meetings with CEOs and international dignitaries, arranging domestic and foreign trips and representing McCarthy on the Presidential Inauguration Committee in 2021. Friedman also worked for the Presidential Inaugural Committee and Republican National Convention in 2016. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in management and event planning in 2018.
