Maynard Adds Shareholder

Maynard Cooper & Gale recently hired Dayne Cutrell as a shareholder in the firm’s government and regulatory affairs practice, in which he will serve as director of federal affairs. Cutrell, who is a native of Mobile, joins Maynard after working in Washington, D.C., for more than a decade. He served in the office of U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby in various capacities, having most recently worked as Shelby’s chief of staff. Previously, Cutrell worked as a subcommittee staff director, or clerk, on the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Subcommittee on the Senate Appropriations Committee and as a legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives. Cutrell received his undergraduate degree from Samford University, where he also played baseball. Cutrell earned his law degree from American University Washington College for Law.
