Maynard Cooper recently announced that Anne Laurie McClurkin has been added as a shareholder in the firm’s nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice in Mobile. McClurkin is a seasoned attorney advising employers concerning all areas of employment law with a record of defending her clients at both the trial and appellate levels. McClurkin’s successes include winning a defense verdict for Mobile’s largest industrial employer in multiple race/gender discrimination cases tried by a jury, as well as winning summary judgment for the employer in a Fair Labor Standards Act matter. She has received recognition from the Mid-South Super Lawyers and Alabama Super Lawyers for multiple consecutive years as a rising star in employment litigation. She has also been on Mobile Bay Magazine’s 40 Under 40 and named as one of the Girl Scouts of America Southern Alabama’s Leading Ladies.
