Miller Named Chair Of Seali

Armbrecht Jackson LLP Partner M. Kathleen Miller is serving as the 2024 chair of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (SEALI). Miller has practiced law with Armbrecht Jackson in Mobile since receiving her JD from the Tulane University School of Law in 1980 and was managing partner of the firm from 2009 to 2018. A member of the Alabama Bar, her practice focuses on admiralty and maritime law, insurance coverage and professional liability and business litigation. She is also a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and a fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation, and she is scheduled to co-teach the admiralty course at the University of Alabama School of Law this spring. Additionally, Miller is a member and past president of the Mobile Bar Association, the Mobile Bar Foundation and the Paul W. Brock Chapter of the American Inn of Court. She presently serves as the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast’s chancellor for Alabama and as honorary consul of Norway. SEALI is an organization of more than 500 admiralty attorneys and maritime professionals dedicated to providing a forum for admiralty law practitioners in the Southeast.
