Mobile Mayor Appoints New City Attorney
Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis has announced Robert Shreve will serve as Mobile’s new city attorney, succeeding longtime City Attorney Ricardo Woods of the Burr & Forman law firm. After more than a decade of service, Woods will focus on policy and economic development and remain a key member of the mayor’s leadership team. Shreve, a native of Mobile, is a graduate of Rhodes College and The University of Alabama School of Law. He joined Burr & Forman in 2017 and has been a partner with the firm since 2020. Shreve has worked alongside Woods in representing the city for nearly a decade.
