Phelps Announces Pensacola Expansion With Firm Combination

Phelps has announced that, on May 1, it will combine with Beggs & Lane, the oldest law firm in Pensacola. Operating as Phelps, this combination will expand the regional law firm to more than 425 lawyers in 17 offices. Phelps said the combination deepens its service offerings to clients in employment, healthcare, energy, real estate, tax, white collar defense and intellectual property. Phelps was established in 1853. Beggs & Lane, established in 1883, has a strong industry presence in employment, healthcare, energy, real estate, business, tax, trusts and estates, white collar defense and intellectual property.
