Phelps Dunbar Adds Cabaniss In Merger

Mobile-headquartered Phelps Dunbar LLP recently announced that Cabaniss, Johnston, Gardner, Dumas & O’Neal LLP will become part of the firm on March 1. Once the merger is complete, Phelps Dunbar will have offices in 13 cities throughout its Gulf South region, plus in London. Phelps said the merger will give its clients expanded legal resources in Alabama’s business community, and Cabaniss clients will have access to a broader footprint across the region. Cabaniss operates offices in Mobile and Birmingham.
