Phelps Elects Mobile Partner To 2024 Class

Phelps recently added nine new partners across its footprint. This is its largest-ever partner class, which it says will reinforce the support it provides businesses that power major industries in the Southeast. The class includes Danielle Mashburn-Myrick, a member of the firm’s Mobile litigation group who focuses on finding solutions to bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring and creditors’ rights issues, as well as commercial litigation, for clients in various industries. She represents community banks; global financial institutions; and manufacturers, landlords and asset purchasers in reorganizations and liquidations. She advises companies in distress in connection with debt restructuring and workouts, and when out-of-court options are unavailable, she represents corporate debtors through bankruptcy. She also works with creditors on commercial foreclosures, collection activities and recovery of debts and obligations. She also defends lender liability claims and litigates contract disputes in state, bankruptcy and other federal courts.
