Sirote’s Ortega Appointed To Bar Task Force

Sirote & Permutt, PC, which has offices across Alabama, including in Mobile, recently announced that attorney Juan C. Ortega has been appointed by Alabama State Bar President Robert G. “Bob” Methvin, Jr. to serve on the bar’s Lawyer in Every Classroom Task Force for 2020-2021. The task force’s updated purpose and scope includes advancing civics education in the classroom and promoting its annual May 1 Law Day by planning events and encouraging other attorneys to participate. As a shareholder in Sirote’s Mobile office, Ortega represents individuals and businesses in civil and criminal matters. Ortega received his JD from the Cumberland School of Law and his BA from Auburn University. He also serves on Cumberland’s advisory board and is an active member of the Alabama and Mississippi bars, the Mobile Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
