Utsey Joins Cunningham Bounds

Maggie Utsey, a graduate of Patrician Academy, has joined Cunningham Bounds following a series of clerkships. She earned her BA in English from the University of Alabama, where she was awarded six merit-based scholarships, held multiple leadership roles and was inducted into the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society and the Society of Collegiate Leadership & Achievement. Utsey went on to earn her JD from the Cumberland School of Law, where she deepened her commitment to advocacy through involvement in Women in Law, the American Association for Justice, the Cumberland Public Interest & Community Service Organization and the Cumberland Student Bar Association. She was also a member of the Alabama Student Bar Association and the Georgia Student Bar Association. Utsey is an active member of the Alabama State Bar, the Mobile Bar Association, Baldwin County Bar Association, First Judicial Circuit Bar Association, Alabama Association for Justice and American Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama.
