Gulf Promotes Quina to Director

Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC, of Mobile has promoted Stephen Quina to director of financial services, Pinebrook Properties. Quina has worked for the distributor for more than 10 years, handling various accounting and finance functions for both Gulf and its related companies under the Pinebrook Properties umbrella. In his new role, the company said, he will assume more responsibilities related to the direction and strategy of both Gulf and Pinebrook Properties. He will also become more actively engaged in the relationships he has with company partners in industries including insurance, banking and property management. Quina played baseball for Spring Hill College, where he completed his MBA and undergraduate degrees. Gulf also announced that Thomas A. Gangle, who served as its president since 2014 and, prior to that, as chief financial officer for 14 years, recently retired. The company said he was instrumental in it growing from doing business in only Mobile and Baldwin counties to now operating in almost all of Alabama; the panhandle of Florida; and parts of Mississippi, Texas, and Colorado.
