MTC May Build Another Mobile Facility

MTC Logistics opened its $61-million refrigerated cargo facility adjacent to the Alabama State Port Authority container terminal in Mobile last month (MTC Opens Facility, Receives Honor). At a grand opening on October 20, the Baltimore-based company explained that the new facility has already generated responses from its targeted customer base that have exceeded its expectations, Business Alabama reported. Andy Janson, president of MTC, added, “Our optimism is so strong at this point [that] we are already in discussion about a significant expansion, which will only add additional jobs and opportunities in this wonderful community.”
