MTC Opens Facility, Receives Honor

MTC Logistics has opened its Mobile facility and has been honored by business-to-business publication Food Logistics for its role in keeping the global food chain moving, Business Alabama reports. It made the magazine’s list of top third-party logistics and cold-storage providers. Ernie Ferguson, vice president of sales at MTC, commented, “The recognition is appreciated and is a testimony to our most important asset, our employees. We are excited about the future and have recently opened a new facility in Mobile, Alabama, to better serve our customers in another region.” This facility adjacent to the Alabama State Port Authority container terminal cost $61 million and encompasses 12 million ft3, including 40,000 racked pallet storage positions.
