Silver Ships Supplies USACE With Another Survey Vessel

Aluminum boat builder Silver Ships, Inc. of Theodore has completed the construction and delivery of a 35-ft hydrographic survey catamaran to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District. The vessel is designed to support hydrographic surveying operations critical to USACE’s mission of maintaining navigable waterways and ensuring infrastructure integrity. Silver Ships says the new catamaran features a hull optimized for stability and precision in surveying missions, twin Mercury SeaPro 500-hp outboard engines and a Furuno navigation suite with advanced sonar and mapping technologies.
