Techline Acquires AIP

Spanish Fort-based wholesaler TechLine International has announced the acquisition of Alabama Industrial Products (AIP), a distributor of hydraulic and instrumentation products. The purchase of AIP also includes The Clamp Co., which distributes various pipe and tubing clamps for industry. TechLine International also owns TechLine Mfg., which manufactures electrical and instrumentation supports and is also based in Spanish Fort. Wendy D’Olive, TechLine owner and president, said, “AIP and The Clamp Co. tie in easily with our other products and bring a new customer base into our fold. Additionally, the company brings complementary products and custom clamp capabilities to our current customers. We know this acquisition will be great for our customers and for our employees, and we look forward to growing our future together.”
