New Airbus DoD Contract

Airbus DS Military Aircraft Inc. has been awarded a $10-million maximum ceiling firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for the sustainment and modernization of five CASA 212-200 CC60 aircraft, Business Alabama reports. Most of the work, installing new avionics suites and maintaining aircraft for the U.S. Army Special Operation Aviation Command, will be done in Mobile. It is expected to be complete in August 2023.
