BBB Names Executive

BBB Industries, LLC, a sustainable manufacturer serving the automotive, industrial, energy storage and solar markets, has appointed Gonzalo Cajade as its executive vice president and chief people officer (CPO), effective immediately. Cajade is an experienced industrial sector human resources leader who spent his career at the former United Technologies Corp. (UTC) and Otis Elevator Co., which successfully spun off from UTC in 2020. He brings more than two decades of experience in multicultural settings, including regional CPO roles in the Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Cajade was also vice president of talent and diversity for Otis and, most recently, served as CPO for Otis’ Americas business. Cajade will be based in the company’s corporate center in Daphne. He replaces Matt Brynildson, who will remain in an advisory role through the transition.
