Continental’s Hong Wins Leadership Award

Karen Hong, president and CEO of Continental Aerospace Technologies of Mobile, recently received the Career Mastered National Women’s Trailblazer Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership, professional achievements and commitment to developing people and organizations. Continental said that Hong’s strategic leadership continues to drive the company’s growth as a leader in piston engine technology while also advancing the growth of its team members. “While I’m proud to lead a global team, I’m especially honored to work alongside nearly 400 dedicated team members at our headquarters in Mobile, Alabama, all working together to support and serve our customers around the world,” she said. The honor adds to Hong’s growing list of recognitions, including the 2025 General Aviation Industry Leadership Award from Flieger Magazine in Germany and a nomination for the 2026 Business Alabama Best CEO award.
