Shell Makes Big Donation to Make-A-Wish

The Mobile Shell Chemical LP plant in Saraland raised $25,200 to realize three wishes of children in the local community through Make-A-Wish Alabama. The program was based on meeting the goals of the plant’s October 2020 Turnaround Event, which saw Shell donate $450 for each shift of safe work. In the case of one local Make-A-Wish girl, Ava was honored on October 14 with a “wish” reveal parade (covered by WKRG). Shell employees, contractors, the Chickasaw City School Band and Azalea Trail Maids participated in revealing her wish of visiting Hawaii will come true.
